KHMEL Alla Viktorivna (25. 07. 1967, Donetsk) — graphic artist and painter. Sister of H. Khmeľ. Grand Prix for animation at the “Constellation of Talents” International Festival (Kyiv, 2025). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1999). Graduated from the Donetsk Art School with a specialization in decorative artist (1986), Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute with a specialization in graphic designer (1993; instructors O. Veklenko, V. Lesniak, V. Pobiedin, I. Kryvoruchko, V. Chaus). Worked 2000–12 at the “Iris” advertising agency; 2017–22 — designer at the “Pivdenkabel” plant (both in Kharkiv); 2022–23 — designer, decorator at the Center for Border Cultures in Krosno (Poland); 2024–25 — designer at the State Aviation Museum in Kyiv. Works in the fields of graphics, painting, book illustration. Illustrated a number of books published by publishing houses in Kharkiv (“Prapor”, “Talant”, “Ranok”, “Folio”, publishing department of UAPTS) and Kyiv (“Makhаon”, publishing department of UOC), including “Molytvoslov dlia ditei” (Kh., 1996), “Detskyi molytvoslov” (1997), “Biblyeiska azbuka dlia ditei” (2008; both in Kyiv). In 1997–2022 worked in the field of ceramics, creating panels, candle holders, bells, chess sets, etc., in the Ukrainian folk style. Participant in regional, national, and international art exhibitions since 1988, including in Slovenia (1993), Spain (1994–95, 1997–99, 2001–02, 2004), Yugoslavia (1996, 1999, 2001), Poland (2008), France (2009). Solo exhibitions — in Kharkiv (1994, 2000, 2003, 2006–08, 2010–11, 2020–21).
